ADHD for us is: if you ask, we respond!

After our workshop in Bologna, we are coming online!

Do you remember Cognitive Crescendo?

Back in April, Tiziana and I started with Executive Functions, through a beautiful course that genuinely changed the way many teachers understand learning, behaviour, and their students.

Now, Cognitive Crescendo is opening a new chapter: ADHD+.

We dive into this journey with an exhilarating introductory workshop called DISCOVER, a dynamic space filled with understanding, exploration, and that electrifying first contact, expertly led by me and Tiziana.

This workshop is the first chapter of a new series: Cognitive Crescendo – ADHD+

It follows the foundations we laid in Cognitive Crescendo – Foundation and opens a deeper, more specific conversation around ADHD without fear, without judgment, and without oversimplification.

What this workshop is (and what it’s not)

This is not a diagnostic course.
This is not a list of tricks or quick fixes.

This workshop is a grounded, human introduction to ADHD:

  • how it shows up in learning environments
  • how it affects regulation, attention, movement and emotions in children and adults
  • and how we, as educators, can respond with awareness and care

It’s designed as a space to give clarity, not overwhelm you with information.

What you will explore

In this workshop:

➤The psychological foundations of ADHD

  • What ADHD really is (beyond stereotypes)
  • How the nervous system works under stress and overload
  • Why regulation always comes before learning or communication

➤ Regulation before performance

  • Why calming the nervous system is not optional
  • How safety, predictability and connection change everything

➤ ADHD in educational settings

  • What you might be seeing in your students — and in yourself
  • Why some children “can’t sit still” or “switch off”
  • How environment, rhythm and expectations impact attention

➤ ADHD in music education

  • What you might be seeing in your students — and in yourself
  • Why some children “can’t sit still” or “switch off”
  • How environment, rhythm and expectations impact attention

A little snap shoot from Bologna.

This workshop is not only theoretical. You will also experience:

  • simple alignment exercises to reconnect with your body
  • body music practices designed to calm and organise the nervous system
  • moments of reflection to integrate what you’re learning

These practices are:

  • accessible
  • adaptable
  • and immediately usable in your sessions

Because understanding ADHD is not enough, we need to feel regulation in our own bodies first.
